Game Explantions:
Shake those disks: Using pennies or coins of your choice the child will shake them in a cup or hand and then flip them out on the table. They will count up how many "heads" and how many "tails" to create the number bonds at the bottom. The whole number at the top of the number bond is how many coins they will need. After they count up how many heads and tails, they color in the box above then number bond they make.
Target Practice: Choose a number 6-10 and write it in the circle on the top right of the page. Roll a die and write the number that is rolled in one small circle off the target. Then, figure out the number that goes with the number you just rolled to create the target number. Repeat this until the whole page is filled.
Example: (Target number 8) I roll a 3 with a die. I would write a 3 in one small circle and a 5 in the other small circle because
3 +5= 8.
